Two Houses, giclee print of original oil on canvas painting

This painting was done from memory of my long job commute during the winter months. The country road I drove on had rural homes with their lights on, cows in the fields, some lingering snow in the woods. Every night I memorized a little more, then painted this image when I was ready. It is a rural landscape at twilight. I was trying to veer away from painting from life, which I've done most of my life, as a way of freeing myself up.
