Pocopson Cornfield. This is what it looks like in rural Pennsylvania; it is fast disappearing though. I love the landscape here - it is not as spectacular as in many other places, but to me it has a feeling of richness, growth, color, interesting form, and an emotion that is impossible to express. It's the feeling of being attached to the land, not as "pretty nature" outside of ourselves, but as a large part of who we are as humans. If we lose it, we lose ourselves.
