This is a reproduction of an oil painting, Manitoba Glen, which resulted from a trip to southern Manitoba, Canada. The area is mostly flat, with a nearby large, deep forest. Compared to my neck of the woods, Pennsylvania, the trees on the flatland are sparse, and their leaves seem sparse as well. But this leafy glen was the oasis I found and painted, with the sunlight shining through and creating a radiance.
